Support North Country HealthCare During Arizona Gives Day 2024

03/21/2024 by Kari Perlewitz

Every year, Arizona Gives Day — an initiative of AZ Impact for Good — brings together individuals and communities across the state to support local nonprofit organizations. Since its inception in 2013, AZ Impact for Good has raised nearly $42 million for Arizona’s nonprofit sector. This makes a huge impact in our local area!

Donations are accepted on the AZ Impact for Good website every day, but the big statewide “Arizona Gives Day” online giving campaign takes place in early April each year. This year, mark your calendars for April 2, 2024, and join us for the big 24-hour fundraiser to support North Country HealthCare and other deserving organizations!

What is Arizona Gives Day?

Arizona Gives Day is a statewide initiative that empowers individuals to support causes they care about by providing a platform to discover, learn about, and contribute to local nonprofits.

The giving event always takes place during the first week of April. But this year, AZ Impact for Good is also offering an “Early Giving” option to give organizations more time to raise much-needed funds. You can click here to see the current donation totals. People are really stepping up to support their favorite nonprofits!

One of the key features of Arizona Gives Day is its unique online giving platform. This platform enables nonprofits like North Country HealthCare to create a donor profile and share our stories, engage with the community, and raise awareness about our mission and impact.

By participating in Arizona Gives Day — either on April 2nd or during Early Giving — you’re investing in the future of Arizona. Your gift helps strengthen our state by supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.

A Closer Look at Nonprofits in Arizona

Arizona is home to more than 20,000 nonprofits that provide the services our community relies on every day. Arizona Gives was created to both strengthen and sustain Arizona’s nonprofit sector through donations and fundraising efforts like Arizona Gives Day and Giving Tuesday.

Let’s talk numbers for a moment. Each year, nonprofits statewide create an economic impact of $23.5 billion. That’s nearly 8% of Arizona’s gross state product. Arizona nonprofits also account for 332,000 jobs, which makes the nonprofit sector the 5th largest non-government employer in the state. Donations are crucial to help these organizations continue their mission!
