Flagstaff’s first annual Out of the Darkness Walk takes place Saturday, September 30th at 8am. This Saturday, September 30th North Country HealthCare will join with many other local organizations to raise awareness for suicide prevention in northern Arizona. North Country is just one of several corporate sponsors for Flagstaff’s Out of the Darkness Walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Arizona chapter. In 2016, 139 survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence received forensic exams from Northern Arizona Care and Services After Assault (NACASA) at North Country HealthCare. NACASA has been providing care for assault victims at North Country HealthCare for the last ten years, and each year the number of exams performed increases.
