Help Support North Country HealthCare’s Mission this Giving Tuesday
At North Country HealthCare, we help people regardless of their income or financial situation. This Giving Tuesday, your donations—big or small—will help fuel our ability to provide affordable, accessible, and compassionate care to our local communities.
Donations power our mission by funding services and programs that remove barriers to care. For example, we use them to fuel our patient assistance funds. This is just one of the many ways we can address both medical and essential non-medical needs to ensure our patients receive comprehensive care and support.
David Owen is one of our amazing Care Coordination Supervisors. He met with a new mother who had just moved to Flagstaff and during the appointment, David learned that the family didn’t have a safe place for the baby to sleep or a car seat. He was able to tap into our patient assistance funds to purchase those items for the family before they left our clinic that day.
On top of that, David learned that the new mother was experiencing fairly severe postpartum depression. He was able to immediately coordinate with the behavioral health team to get her set up with a telemed appointment for the very next day.
“It was neat to see those teams come together quickly and promptly for a common goal. The family is doing well and is incredibly supported and that is my mission statement. I feel honored to be a blip in the journey to better health outcomes for our patients.” says David.
This is just one example of how our patient assistance funds can lead to life-changing outcomes for our patients. And that fund is fueled by donations from our community!
North Country HealthCare is powered by donations of all sizes. These funds directly support:
Your generosity is what enables us to go beyond traditional care so we can support our patients in ways that truly transform lives and communities.
Again, every donation matters. We mentioned it before, but even small contributions can lead to enormous changes in the lives of those we serve. A small act of kindness, like donating $10 or $20 on Giving Tuesday, can help provide vital supplies — like medical equipment or baby essentials — to local families in need. Small donations create ripples of change that lift up entire communities. They are proof that together, we can achieve incredible things.
By donating to North Country HealthCare this Giving Tuesday, you contribute to a legacy of compassion and healing. Every dollar you give makes a difference, whether it’s helping a family afford medical equipment or enabling someone to receive life-saving treatments.
Together, we can continue to break down barriers and ensure everyone in our community has access to quality healthcare. Make your donation today and help us continue this vital work. Visit North Country HealthCare’s donation page to share the gift of health this Giving Tuesday.
