Biography: Karen Damgaard, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who specializes in caring for the entire family. Under the supervision of a physician, Karen obtains patient medical histories, conducts physical exam, makes assessments and provides treatment to patients of all ages. She licensed by the state of Arizona and nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants, the only physician assistant certifying organization in the U.S.
Karen joined North Country HealthCare in January 2007, where she also worked as a medical assistant before continuing her education to become a Physician Assistant. Karen also worked in a variety of private medical practices as a medical assistant. Before entering the medical field, Karen showed her creative side working in the field of graphic design.
