Arizona Gives Day is dedicated to generosity, a day where individuals and businesses across the state come together to support local nonprofit organizations. This Arizona Gives Day, consider making a difference by donating to North Country HealthCare, a federally qualified nonprofit community health center whose mission is to create healthier communities across northern Arizona by making primary care accessible to everyone.
For over 30 years, North Country HealthCare has long been a cornerstone of northern Arizona’s health services. Each year, we improve the lives of more than 55,000 people and provide a critical safety net in 11 communities across the region.
Our organization is a powerful force for good. We care for the most vulnerable members of our communities, including:
Our expert health insurance navigators are also available to help individuals and families enroll in affordable health coverage plans, ensuring that no one goes without the care they need.
But our impact goes beyond providing care today—we’re also investing in tomorrow’s healthcare leaders. Through family medicine, dental, and clinical pharmacy residency programs, we train the next generation of providers, ensuring that rural and underserved communities continue to have access to high-quality healthcare.
Your donation to a North Country HealthCare program has the power to change lives. Here are just a few ways your contribution can help:
Angel Fund- Provides essential financial assistance for uninsured and underinsured patients, covering the costs of prescriptions, medical equipment, transportation, and other urgent needs including items like car seats and cribs.
Behavioral Health Services- Supports critical mental health care for individuals who would otherwise go untreated.
Northern Arizona Care and Services After Assault (NACASA)- Provides, forensic exams, follow-up care (medications, counseling, office visits not covered by other programs/funds) and support groups for survivors of sexual assault.
HIV/AIDS prevention and education- Funds HIV rapid tests and educational programs.
Teaching & Training- Supports the Colorado Plateau Center for Health Professions (CPCHP) to address the shortage of medical professionals in rural communities, increasing access to care.
Well Woman HealthCheck Program- Provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings, diagnostics and treatment assistance for low income, underinsured, and uninsured women.
Your contribution doesn’t just help one person—it strengthens entire communities. By reducing healthcare disparities and ensuring access to essential services, your support improves the overall health and well-being of Arizona families.
Arizona Gives Day is more than just a day of giving—it’s an opportunity to create lasting change. Every donation, whether big or small, helps ensure that healthcare remains a right, not a privilege.
