During her three-year family medicine residency in Yuma, Dr. Nicole Daniel was elected as the chief resident, a role that allowed her to bridge communication between residents and faculty. In this capacity, she served as a resident advocate, ensuring that the concerns and needs of my peers were addressed while also facilitating a collaborative environment conducive to learning and growth. Dr. Daniel’s leadership extends beyond the clinical setting as she actively participated in the global medicine and advocacy group, where she had the opportunity to advocate for family medicine at both the local and national levels in Phoenix and Washington, D.C.
