We are sending this letter to inform you of a voluntary recall of glucometer test strips manufactured by Trividia. The recalled test strips were distributed in the United States and are from specific lots of TRUEread, TRUEbalance, TRUEtrack and TRUEtest. Trividia has determined that specific lots of blood glucose test strips, packaged between April and July of 2015, may have included vials that were not sealed correctly which can affect test strip performance. On Friday, July 21st, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced 516 awardees in 47 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia to help reduce the risks for heart attacks and strokes among millions of Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries. North Country HealthCare Awarded Grant to Fight Breast Cancer

Last April, Susan G. Komen® Arizona awarded a $150,000 grant to North Country HealthCare’s Well Woman HealthCheck program (WWHP) to help fulfill Susan G. Komen’s mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. In total, Komen Arizona awarded more than $725,000 in grants to 10 community programs in Arizona to fund life-saving breast cancer education, screening, diagnostics, treatment and survivorship support programs. The grant money will benefit North Country’s Well Woman HealthCheck programs in Coconino, Yavapai, Navajo, Apache, Gila and Mohave counties. “The Komen funding will assist with treatment for people who don’t have other options for breast cancer …
