KidsCare coverage has been restored for Arizona children who do not qualify for AHCCCS, Arizona’s Medicaid program. Children whose household income is between 133% and 200% of the Federal Poverty Limit (FPL) now have access to full Medicaid benefits for a minimal monthly premium. This means children in a family of four could qualify with an annual household income up to $48,600. North Country HealthCare views the restoring of KidsCare as a benefit to the uninsured and underinsured children of Arizona.
Beginning July 26, 2016, all North Country HealthCare locations will provide free, bilingual enrollment assistance for families and parents applying for KidsCare. Coverage will begin on September 1, 2016.
