The Preceptor of the Year award recognizes a preceptor who has excelled in the training of students and residents. The award recipient is best described as someone who has a sustained record of significant contributions to training in the role of preceptor and mentor and has a track record of having a positive influence on the future of healthcare clinicians.
Dr. Shipra Bansal is an extremely dedicated preceptor and educator. Her passion for teaching is arguably unparalleled, this is what sets her apart from other preceptors. Students often describe her as caring and passionate. One student even said she is the type of doctor he wants to emulate.
