This program helps low-income, uninsured and underinsured women gain access to age appropriate breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services including clinical breast exams, mammograms, Pap & HPV tests and pelvic exams. Diagnostic testing such as ultrasounds, biopsies and other tests are also available if screening results are abnormal. Referrals are made for treatment as necessary.
Since education plays a vital role in avoiding late stage diagnosis, clients are encouraged to be advocates for their own health whenever possible. The Well Woman HealthCheck Program at North Country HealthCare is funded through the Arizona Department of Health Services with a grant from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

The Well Woman HealthCheck Program exists throughout Arizona. WWHP and Treatment Link are available at all North Country HealthCare locations. In partnership with Yavapai County, we have an additional service location at the Community Health Center of Yavapai – Prescott.
Treatment Link ProgramThe Treatment Link Program is a payer of last resort for women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer through the Well Woman HealthCheck Program of northern Arizona. This program covers the cost of treatment for those who qualify and otherwise do not have access to other programs and services.
