The Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention offers a trauma-informed, patient-centered training designed to equip law enforcement, legal and patient advocates, and medical professionals with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and respond effectively to cases of strangulation. Grounded in evidence-based practices, this training fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration and introduces proven strategies to enhance the care and support provided to strangulation survivors. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the medical, legal, and psychological impacts of strangulation, with a focus on improving outcomes through compassionate, informed, and coordinated community response.
