Women’s Health OB/GYN Services

North Country HealthCare offers a variety of women’s healthcare services. Care is provided by highly skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologists, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives and Physician Associates. Each of our providers is committed to working with patients to make the best medical decisions for each individual. Our goal is to create an atmosphere in our office that is comfortable and welcoming to our patients and their families.

Gynecology Services

We offer a number of different gynecology services including:

• Annual gynecologic exams and preventative health screenings
• Cervical cancer screening (i.e., Pap tests)
• Family planning and contraception management, including IUDs, implants and tubal ligation
• Endometrial biopsies and hysteroscopy in office
• Pain management options for in office procedures
• STD/STI screenings and treatment
• Bone density testing to check for osteoporosis
• Evaluation of pelvic pain and painful periods
• Evaluation of abnormal bleeding
• Gynecologic surgery including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, tubal ligation, hysterectomy, management of ovarian cysts
• Ultrasound evaluation
• Menopause care/ Menopausal hormone therapy
• Evaluation after pregnancy loss
• Pessary management

All of our physicians also offer surgical consultations and operate at Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC). We have dedicated staff to walk you through the process of scheduling your surgery and what to expect from your physician as well as the facility.

Our providers, nurses and medical assistants try to answer all calls within the same day they are received. We always have a provider on call, and when the office is closed our answering service will direct the call appropriately.
