Marissa is a graduate from Northern Arizona University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2015. At Northern Arizona University she learned and became licensed in many skills such as local anesthesia and laser therapy which is an alternative treatment for periodontal disease. While in her collegiate career, she traveled to Antigua, Guatemala to provided dental care and education to those with little to no access to dental care. Since graduation Marissa has moved back to her hometown of Eagar, Arizona where she is raising her two children. So far in her career Marissa has worked in public health, for a periodontal specialist, and a cosmetic specialist. Marissa joined North Country HealthCare in 2021 after training as a Dental Hygiene Student at the Flagstaff location in 2013-2015. She is now seeing patients at North Country HealthCare Round Valley and Show Low. In her free time, Marissa enjoys actively perfecting her Dutch oven cooking and baking while on camping trips.
