The Health Start Program is a FREE program that works directly with pregnant women, new mothers and their families in Coconino and Navajo Counties. Your child and family deserve the best chance of success, and Health Start assists by providing education and referrals to community resources. Families enrolled in Health Start receive in-home health and wellness checks from community health workers with support from health care professionals.

A community health worker will go over the program basics and assist you with the rest of the enrollment process. They will discuss the number of expected home visits you will receive, and the activities and information provided. After enrollment, you can create a schedule with your Community Health Worker to meet at the times that are best for you. We look forward to visiting with you!
