What Should I Expect When I call North Country HealthCare After Hours?

At North County HealthCare, we make every effort to ensure every patient receives the care they need 24/7. If you are trying to reach us after business hours here is what to expect when you give us a call.

Step 1: Identify the emergency

If this is an emergency, please call 911. If this is a mental health emergency call, 877.756.4090 or 911.

Step 2: Are you a current North Country HealthCare patient?

Have you/the patient been seen by a North Country HealthCare provider within the past 36 months? This helps determine how a provider can assist you by having your most up to date information at hand.

Step 3: How can we help?

Are you calling about clinic hours, how to schedule an appointment, a clinic address, provider information, order status, ect.?

Our team can assist you with these questions during our regular business hours, please call the location nearest you during these times.

Medication or Refill Assistance

Are you calling about a medication or prescription refill?

A  provider will be able to assist with medication requests during our normal business hours, please call the location nearest you or our pharmacy department during these times.

Ongoing Condition

Are you calling about a condition which has been present for more than six weeks and has remained unchanged? Are you calling about a recent office visit for a condition that is unchanged since that visit?

A  provider will be able to assist with medication requests during our normal business hours, please call the location nearest you during these times.

Lab Results

Are you calling about a lab result or images ordered at a recent office visit for which the condition is unchanged since that visit?

A  provider will be able to assist with medication requests during our normal business hours, please call the location nearest you during these times.

If none of the the above pertains to your request, please call the location nearest you to be connected to an after-hours representative. Please have your full name and date of birth ready.

Additional Tips:

If possible, have a list of your current medications, a list of allergies and insurance verification available.
