About:
Dr. Richins is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force (USAF), where he served as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialist. He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant (MSgt) before being honorably discharged in 2011. After nearly a decade of service in the USAF, he embarked on a second career as a physician, earning his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2016.
Following medical school, he joined the North Colorado Family Medicine Residency and secured a place in their highly competitive rural training track, which was situated in the picturesque town of Wray, CO. Dr. Richins successfully completed his residency in 2019 and went on to dedicate several years to providing medical care in underserved areas in Idaho. Eventually, he returned to his home state of Arizona to practice medicine and pursue his passion for rural healthcare.
In his free time, he enjoys skydiving, snow skiing, disc golf and riding motorcycles.
