Biography: Elaine Accomando, PA-C, is a certified Family Practice Physician Assistant, with more than 30 years of experience. As a Physician Assistant, she works in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician. Accomando’s scope of practice includes obtaining medical histories, conducing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illness and disease, and prescribing medication for patients.
Her specialties and interests include adult medicine, pediatric and adolescent health, and the treatment and management of Hepatitis C. She also maintains ongoing education regarding new therapies, treatment options and care processes.
Accomando joined North Country HealthCare in 2003. As a member of the North Country HealthCare team of expert medical professionals, she is committed to providing the best-possible medical care to the residents and medically underserved residents of northern Arizona. Accomando provides care at three North Country locations – Ash Fork, Seligman and Flagstaff.
Prior to joining North Country HealthCare, Accomando worked at as a Physician Assistant at Allina Family Practice Clinic in Eagan, Minnesota.
