M Cristina De Souza is a board-certified internist with special interest in hematology and geriatrics. She’s originally from Brazil, where she went to medical school, did medical residency training in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology/Blood Banking. She is interested in education both for patients and medical students and residents. She moved to the US in 1990s to do a residency in Internal Medicine with University of Arizona, Phoenix Campus. She joined North Country in Feb 2021, serving as an internist and Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the Western Region. She is also involved in the Pain Management and Infectious Disease Committees.
