At North Country HealthCare it’s our mission to keep you healthy to do the things you love to do and to be with the ones you love, for a very long time. North Country HealthCare is a community health center. We provide quality primary healthcare to the entire community! We care for those that have chronic conditions and sudden illness. Our doctors and providers are especially passionate about preventive care to keep our patients healthy, active and ready to enjoy life.
As a community health center, it’s our goal to ensure no person is without access to primary care. For this reason North Country HealthCare accepts all patients regardless of their insurance or financial status. If you are eligible, based on income and family size, our sliding-fee scale allows you to pay variable rates. We also offer discounted fees and programs that can assist when insurance doesn’t cover a service. We also accept private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare.
North Country HealthCare has dedicated staff at each of our locations to assist in enrolling in medical insurance coverage. Uninsured patients may be eligible for a $0 premium plan, or a tax credit to lower monthly premium costs.
We offer family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN care, behavioral health and dental care. Some locations offer urgent care, physical therapy, pharmacy and lab services.
Another thing that sets North Country apart from a regular doctor office is that we offer many services and community programs to keep our patients living their healthiest lives. Programs like Health Start and Healthy Steps help ensure families have access to necessary resources and education. We also offer programs to help our patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS.
Our healthcare providers also visit schools on a routine basis to keep kids healthy and ready to learn. The goal of this service is to promote the overall health of students so they can benefit fully from their educational experience. This service is offered as a convenience to families, and if your child already has a medical provider, we are happy to work with him/her to see that each child receives the best care.
