Work History & Leadership:

  • I worked for the Indian Health Service in Kayenta, AZ for eight years in a number of clinical leadership roles
  • In 2010, I collaborated with the medical arm of the Afghanistan Higher Education Project in Kabul to help improve medical education through faculty development
  • Before going to medical school, I worked in publishing as the managing editor of Political Science Quarterly and later as the business manager of the Academy of Political Science
