A cooperative project between North Country HealthCare and DNA-People’s Legal Services
Sometimes legal problems can affect your wellbeing. Whether it’s a stressful divorce, housing conditions that endanger your health or an abusive partner or loved one you need to be away from, the North Country Medical Legal Partnership may be able to help. Talk to your healthcare provider if you would like to meet with someone to discuss your legal concerns. A representative from the Medical Legal Partnership will determine if you are eligible for our free services.
The specially trained staff do not represent clients in criminal matters or in cases against North Country HealthCare; however, we may be able to represent clients in the following areas:
Making decisions for loved ones
Planning for the future
Other legal issues
Tell your healthcare provider you would like to speak with a NCMLP representative to determine if you are eligible for services and if we can help with your legal concern.
