Thanks to our supporters, North Country HealthCare was able to provide quality healthcare to nearly 60,000 northern Arizonans this year.

One of our favorite success stories of the year is about Stephanie, a 56-year-old grandmother, who received a new smile thanks to our Angel Fund patient assistance program. Stephanie’s new dentures have changed her perspective on life. She’s happier, healthier and much more outgoing.

“I used to be the person who always sat in the back of the room, but I’m a different person now. I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life; I can’t express how thankful and happy I am!” Stephanie’s words are a reminder of the opportunity we have to make a significant difference in our patients’ lives.

Each day, your support makes stories like Stephanie’s possible.

The Angel Fund is at the heart of our work. Proceeds from our Angel Fund Golf Classic, the Flagstaff Marathon and the John H. Caskey Endowment are used to support the uninsured and underinsured in our community who need assistance beyond the patient treatment room. Ways that this fund may assist patients include medication assistance, medical equipment, living condition modifications, transportation, medical items not covered by insurance, basic needs and other financial assistance as needed. In 2015 we had 60 requests for additional assistance from the Angel Fund; 2016 is looking to be no different.

Today we’re launching our 2016 Year-End Campaign. Just like Stephanie’s need for dentures, we still have many patients who are in much need of outside diagnostic tests, home modifications, medical travel assistance, dentures, hearing aids and much more. That’s why we are hoping to raise $25,000 by December 31st. If we raise that amount, we’ll be able to help our physicians provide better care and assistance to their patients beyond the treatment room. We need your help.

In 2015, 60 Angel Fund requests were granted, meeting the basic needs of our patients.

Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal and help our patients receive the additional services they need?

We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.

Don’t forget that Arizona legislators doubled Arizona’s Charitable Tax Credit. You may now claim a credit for donating up to $400 (filing single) or $800 (filing joint) to Qualifying Charitable Organizations. And you may give both to North Country HealthCare and a school! Click here to learn more about how the charitable tax credit works. Thank you for your continued support and friendship.

North Country HealthCare is a nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and a Qualifying Charitable Organization with the Arizona Department of Revenue. Our tax ID number is 86-0663432.
